Role:
The Hospital Quality Manager develops the Quality Management focus for Programs in collaboration with Programs leadership, and leaders across the ship. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing development of hospital-wide programs that enhance patient care, Quality, and Case Management.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in clinical healthcare-related field is required. Three years of patient care experience or healthcare quality experience.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or other recognized certification in quality and/or patient safety programs.
Cost: Self-Funded. $200. Volunteers pay for their transportation to and from the ship’s location as well as crew fees and all personal expenses (see sample budget). Crew fees vary depending on the length of commitment as well as what nation the volunteer comes from. For those unable to raise support, assistance may be available. Financial aid to crew with commitments of 24+ months and for any crew in qualifying maritime roles.
