Role:
The Lead Crew Nurse coordinates healthcare for our volunteer Crew and our local Day Crew. You will support the Crew Physician and oversee the work of the Crew Clinic Administrative Assistant in establishing and maintaining a well-functioning Crew Clinic, supporting our volunteers with the best possible care when needed.
Time Commitment: Minimum 2 Years

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse or Family Practice Nurse Practitioner with current licensure in the home country. Work experience as a registered nurse/family practice nurse practitioner within the past 2 years is required.
- Able to live in and contribute to community life, requiring stable and healthy interpersonal skills.

Self-Funded $200. Volunteers pay for their transportation to and from the ship’s location as well as crew fees and all personal expenses (see sample budget). Crew fees vary depending on the length of commitment as well as what nation the volunteer comes from. For those unable to raise support, assistance may be available.
Financial aid to crew with commitments of 24+ months and for any crew in qualifying maritime roles.
