Our nurses provide patients with their professional skills and personal touch. They embody the compassionate and caring spirit of Operation Smile’s medical volunteer community. Their knowledge of pediatric principles and their diverse abilities ensure that every patient receives the exceptional care they deserve, every step of the way.
Time Commitment: 17 to 12 Days

Requirements:
- Registered in Specialty (For US/CAN volunteers, minimum RN) and practiced within the past 2 years.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent course.
- Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent course. At least two (2) years of current experience in specialty applying.
- Clinical experience in acute care setting (Note: practice areas such as administration, clinics, obstetrics and academic positions do not meet this criteria.).
Cost: Partially self-funded $500, partially org-funded. There is a $500CAD team fee for those who have been on fewer than 25 missions. This helps to cover the cost of breakfasts, lunches, and accommodation while on the mission.
Operation Smile covers the cost of flights.
